HARRISBURG, PA — William Mattern, executive vice president and chief lending officer at Sharon Bank, has been elected to a one-year term as an at-large director on the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers (PACB). Mattern was appointed to serve his new one-year term in September 2023 at the association’s annual meeting in Savannah, GA. The board, which includes PACB officers, region and asset representatives, and at-large members, will meet quarterly to determine the policies and administration of the association. Members of the board include CEOs and senior-level officers of PACB’s member banks. With over 30 years in the banking and financial services industries, Mattern joined Sharon Bank in 2018. Mattern is responsible for all commercial and residential lending functions of Sharon Bank and provides both leadership and strategic direction to the lending group and other areas within the bank.
