NextGen"U" Professional Development Scholarships

Criteria for NextGen"U" Professional Development Scholarship Awards
The PACB Foundation has established scholarships to help provide professional development and leadership skill advancement for community bankers who have demonstrated excellence and the propensity for promotion in their field.

Two (2) scholarships for the full curriculum of NextGen"U", a value of $1,500 each, will be awarded in 2020 based upon the applicant’s desire for advancement, community involvement, and a commitment to a career in community banking.

NextGen"U" is a unique online leadership and career development learning experience. It aims to help individuals develop the 16 kinds of “soft skills” they must embody to successfully manage their career. These 16 core lessons will position individuals as an employee of choice and place them on a fast track for career advancement.

Applicants for PACB NextGen"U" Professional Development scholarships must demonstrate a strong commitment for professional development. Eligible applicants must have worked at least 2 years for a PACB member community bank, demonstrate a desire for self-improvement in the community banking industry, and obtain recognition from a supervisor that you, and the bank, will benefit from the scholarship.
